Thank You!!

My final post for this school project and possibly this blog is currently being read by my viewers/followers. I want to thank you for putting up with both my venting through this blog and my probably annoying sports blogs to those who are not sports fans. I have decided I will probably begin a new blog, at a new url and it will be all about sports. I have said before earlier in blogs that I want to be a professional writer and have a coloumn in a newspaper all for sports and my opinion on current event topics in the sports world. That is my new step in writing, and will post a new url to this blog possibly if anyone is interest in keeping up with my opinion and chasing one of my dreams. Anyways, thank-you to everyone that reads these posts weekly, it is truly an honor. I wish no one but the best in todays daily life, and the questionable future facing us all. THANK-YOU

Politics

So, round this time of year every 4 years, arguably and probably the biggest election for the United States is just around the corner in November. This election is for the next President of the United States, perhaps the biggest and most important job in the world. With all this going around it seems like you can not turn on the television without seeing a good amount of political campaigns and political coverage. We are being brainwashed into one candidate while the others are being brainwashed into another. This starts debates with your friends, and just is ignoring. My best friend Matt, whom if follow my blogs is the one I have been in restoring the barn with. Well anyways, I am not going to state with whom I support to not bring up any more arguments. But, Matt stands with the competitor of this man, and it just has been nonstop debates for the past few days. I am tire of it and do nt want to argue about it but every night he texts me trying to start a debate on it and it has been annoying. I am just ready for this political season to finish and get all these pretty pointless arguments in the past.

Finish Strong

My post this week is all about the end of the year, and finshng the course that is lying ahead. My goal at the end of this semester at Ivy Tech is too leave a year, and continue my college career at IUPUI. Unfortunately, for myself this semester has not matched my performance from last semester, I have last all drive for this semester compared to last. I have found a little bit of drive for this semester just within the past week, and have gotten every single one of my classes grades up pretty wellthis past month. I like many of my readers, and college students all over the country can smell the finish and the pool water waiting for us in the next two weeks. I feel like most recently has just been paper after paper, project after project all due at the same time, and makes for one hell of a time with no life. The thing keeping everyone going at this point is your future and the long break just around the corner. I wish all my fellow peers nothing but the best as you strive to finish strong. May the force be with you all, these next few days.

I have noticed by now my weekly blogs are turning more and more into sports blogs. This is due to the one fact that my love for sports is basically my life, and I would love to professionally write about sports. My number one love of sports is the most beautiful game of basketball. I gave Peyton Manning an honor blog, and I have decided to give a legend in his own right the same "accomplishment." Kobe "Black Mamba" Bryant is a true legend of basketball, that might be the most overlooked of his generation. Kobe transformed the game, and might be the last of his kind in the game today. Kobe had that killer instinct where at any given time he turned into "Mamba Mode" almost at the flip of a switch where he decided to put the nail in the coffin of the opponents chances of victory. There is still plenty of talent in the league perhaps the most ever at once and all spread around. None compare to Kobe, he would take 30-40 shots a game, without any question. Ask him why and he without hesitation would tell you because he was the best on the court. Kobe was so honest with someone on his skills, he came off as a douche. He knew he was great, and to be honest everyone that faced him did too. Kobe was underrated throughout and should be considered one of the best to ever play.

So, my fellow followers and/or readers. Most of you know by now me and my friends absolute love for Peyton Manning, as I have an appreciation blog for him from about two weeks ago. I came up with the idea, where hopefully we can every week for the next 18 years watch one game from Peyton's illustrious career and progress till his grand finale Super Bowl 50 win. So here is my open letter to Mr. Irsay asking for the game film, please share, and try to get this out to him:

"Dear, Mr. Irsay
I know this is not the most ideal way to come in contact with you, but it is the quickest way I can with also hopefully getting a quick response.
First off, I would like to express not only my gratitude, but for every fan around the country. To see Peyton Manning being honored as a member of the Indianapolis Colts this coming Friday at the team Complex. Myself and my buddy Matt, will be camping out Friday at the complex in attempt for an autograph, but more so just an attempt to see our icon from growing up in Indy the GOAT himself Peyton Manning. Fingers-Crossed on this idea, it can not hurt to at least attempt.
The main reason I am writing you Mr. Irsay, is to ask for a favor. Myself and my buddy Matt want to start a tradition every Sunday starting next regular season to watch in chronological order week-by-week the career of Peyton "The Sheriff" Manning. So, this would be done by week 1 of the 2016 regular season watching Peyton's rookie debut, and week 2 watching Rookie year week 2. This will progress for 18 years as we watch the evolution of #18 career. I will have to find a way to contact Mr. Elway as well to get his Bronco years also. Sunday's just won't be the same without Manning on TV (At least in a uniform). He has been both our quarterbacks basically since birth. So we want to continue him being it for at least 18 more years.
Mr. Irsay, I would like to say thank-you for not only your time in this letter, and hopeful response. But, your decision to honor the GOAT for all he has done for the Community of Indianapolis, and bringing the love of the game of football to not only myself, but fans around Indiana, and the United States. I say you even consider that #18 statue Bob Kravitz has written about. Thank-You for deciding to Congratulate the GOAT on a great career, and revitalization of the Colts Organization and making the "Horeshoe" logo recognizable to any true sports fan."

    Thank-You,
        Jordan Dean, and Matt Krivulka

My blog for this week is about myself beginning a new chapter in my life. I have worked at Outback Steakhouse, since February of 2015. My time at Outback has been one heck of a roller coaster ride. I have made so many friends there, that I am almost positive will last. Everyone all says this about theirs friends, but I honestly know these friends will last. My time at Outback has been great, I learned a lot and I mean a lot about what kind of worker I am. What I learned is that I have a type of relationship and love for money that can almost be unmatched. I would pick up shifts non stop and work longer just to pursue that extra tip money. Now, I move on and have received a job at Costco, a wholesale company being built on the Southside. The hourly pay of this job, is too much to decline at my age in life, as I look more towards growing up, and moving out of my families watchful eye. I am almost not certain if this is the right time to leave Outback, as I like it so much. But people make mistakes, and I am stepping away.
